Yuri is Ryo's sister & Takuma's daughter. Growing up with these karate nuts, it's no surprise that she picked up a few moves on her own. Takuma didn't want her to learn karate, because he was afraid she would get hurt, but when trouble showed up in the Art of Fighting games, Yuri was quick to help out, & Takuma eventually broke down & taught her the core of Kyokugenryo karate, although she still has her own take on most of the moves. In alot of respects, she is very similar to Sakura. Obnoxiously energenic & always cheerful, she's makes up for her lack of strength with a large arsenal of maneuvers and solid techniques.
