Raiden is a giant pro-wrestler from Austrailia. Apparently, he was one of the 'bad guys' of wrestling for many years, but his concience caught up with him. When he re-apears in Fatal Fury 2, he's taken his mask off, & now uses his nickname "Big Bear". What can I say, he's a huge, slow grappler. Pretty much, he's SNK's version of Zangief. Now, what he's doing in SNK vs. Capcom, & why he's put the mask back on... well, I don't know. Maybe it pays well to be the bad guy... heh.
Update. Someone wrote me to tell me the difference between Raiden & Big Bear. Apparently, whenever Big Bear has to do any work for Geese Howard, he puts on the mask & calls himself Raiden. Guess he doesn't word getting out that he does a little dirty work on the side. Now if only there were more 7+ foot tall, 400+lb austrialians in the SNK world, then he might actually be able to get away with it.
